Activate a key

Activation is local. The key is stored in this browser and checked here — there is no account to sign in to and no device to register.

What "one-time" actually means

You pay once and the version you bought keeps working forever, offline, on the devices you own. That is the whole deal — there is no server that can switch it off, because there is no server.

Updates are included for a year from purchase. After that the app keeps working and keeps receiving fixes; only new features need a renewal, at $19 per year, and skipping it costs you nothing you already had.

Refunds

Fourteen days, no questions. Email hello@gifbench.com with your key and it is refunded.

The free tier exists precisely so you can find out whether the tool suits you before paying. If you got as far as buying and it still disappointed you, that is our miss, not yours.

Before you buy

Is there really no subscription?
No. One payment, and the software keeps working. Updates renew yearly if you want new features, but the version you have never stops.
What happens to my licence if you disappear?
Nothing. Activation is checked in your browser and the app runs entirely on your machine, so it does not stop working when we do. Save the page to disk and it still opens.
Can I use one key on my laptop and my desktop?
Yes. Pro is per-person, not per-device — activate it wherever you personally work. Studio is per-seat because it covers different people.
Why is the free tier so generous?
Because a crippled free tier would undermine the point. The product argument is that your files never leave your device; a tool you cannot fully test does not prove that. The ceilings are on output size, which is what professional use actually needs.
Do you take card details?
We never see them. Checkout runs on a payment provider's own page; this site has no backend to store anything in.
